He joined the company in January 2020 and has been instrumental in setting up the Singapore entity. Prior to this, he was the Director of a German owner/operator in Singapore, HBC Asia, from 2008 up to 2019. He has vast experience in dry bulk shipping, having been in the industry since 1998. He started as an apprentice at Orion Bulkers where he acquired a bachelor’s degree (majoring in dry bulk) and worked in operations and as an ISM auditor. Subsequently, he joined Bison Ship Management (Chartering Assistant) and Platou Asia (Deputy Head & Chartering Broker).
Agathe joined the company in August 2021 in the capacity of Chartering Manager bringing in 6 years of experience in the maritime sector. Prior to joining Campbell, she spent 3 years working for an agricultural trading firm on their freight platform, where she acquired chartering and market intelligence skills with a focus on the South Atlantic Handy market. Agathe also acquired commercial and ship management skills working for 3 years for a ship owner in the offshore services industry.
He joined the Campbell Nassau office as the Commercial Operations Manager in 2018. Captain Rao has over 29 years of experience in shipping, having sailed on various bulk carriers (SCI, Tolani, and MOL) for over 19 years. Prior to joining the Campbell team, he worked with Cargill Ocean Transportation at the post-fixture commercial operations desk. He has worked on a variety of projects, including IMOS, Veslink, and OpenText. He brings 9 years of post-fixture operations experience to Campbell Bulk.
Joseph joined the Singapore office back in November 2020 as Operations Manager, further expanding Campbell’s presence in the region. He first started his operations career with Transgrain Shipping, where he did freight operations for a major agriculture trading firm. Thereafter, he pursued a career with HBC and Oldendorff, operating both owned ships as well as chartered in tonnages, before joining Campbell Singapore. He brings on board a total of 6 years of operating experience.
Wee Tee joined the company in December 2021 as Senior Operations Manager. He has more than 12 years of experience in dry bulk commercial operations. He has worked with different shipping companies such as Cargill Ocean Transportation Pte Ltd, Klaveness Asia Pte Ltd, and Berge Bulk Shipping Pte Ltd. His experience in commercial operations spans across all sizes of vessels, from Handysize to Capesize.
He joined the company in 2010 since its inception. He has 25 years of experience in the shipping industry with 12 years sailing experience on VLCC’s/VLGC’s with Bergesen and Stena Bulk up to rank of Master. He has a broad experience of working in the LNG sector under varied management structures/cultures and has worked with oil majors/major gas energy companies as clients. He has undertaken operational, HSEQ assurance/vetting, and commercial shore-based roles with companies including Teekay, K Line, V-Ships, and Golar LNG, all based in the UK. He holds an MSc in Maritime Operations from Liverpool John Moores University, an EMBA from Cass Business School, London, and has interned at IMO (MICS/MNI).
An HR professional with over 17 years of experience in various capacities within the people function across leading organizations within the corporate and social development sector, Vibhavari joined the company in October 2021 as Director - Human Capital. She has worked with some of the biggest conglomerates in India operating in the manufacturing, retail, finance, and pharma sectors. Prior to joining Campbell, she was associated with a not-for-profit organization delivering innovative HR strategy and solutions. Along with a Psychology Hons. and Masters’ degree in Human Resources, over the years, she has also acquired degrees in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. She has worked hands on with the leadership on strategic issues pertaining to the establishment of critical HR systems and processes, i.e., talent acquisition and retention, career development programs, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and organization and HR policies and procedures. A mental health counsellor and a clinical psychologist, Vibhavari is passionate about creating awareness around mental health and providing support to those in need.
Homi joined the firm as a Chief Culture Officer in June 2020. In an endeavor to focus on seafarers mental wellbeing, the firm has made a strong commitment to proactively create a culture of a healthy, respectful, and safe environment across its fleet. Homi actively aligns with the firm’s vision and engages through on-board training programs on personal mastery, mental models, team learning, and professional outcomes. Alongside training, he offers one-on-one interventions and coaching partnerships to bring out the best in every individual.
Homi is a Professional Certified Coach accredited with the International Coaching Federation and is also a Certified Organization Development Consultant. He brings rich corporate experience of over 30 years and has been privileged to work for organizations like Tata Unisys, Mahindra British Telecom, Microsoft, and Morgan Stanley, where he held the post of Executive Director for 13 years.
Starting his career as a marine engineer apprentice in 1995 in Calcutta, he went on to become a chief engineer sailing on oil tankers, bulk carriers, and container vessels. Stepping ashore in 2009, Mr. Ghosh was involved in new building takeovers for India Steamship from Hyundai, Korea. Thereafter, he worked with Anglo Eastern Ship Management (Hong Kong) and BW (Singapore) as a technical superintendent. Working with third-party ship managers as well as direct owners has given him a broad and varied experience in the technical supervision of vessels. He holds the status of Chartered Engineer and has a degree in Electrical Engineering (AMIE).
She joined the company as Group Financial Controller in May 2016 after nearly twelve years with one of the Big 4 accounting firms in the United States and The Bahamas. During this time, she gained invaluable exposure to an array of industries, companies, and accounting standards. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants. As Group Financial Controller, Davina is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, and reporting activities.
He joined Campbell Shipping in 2010, since its inception. He holds an HND Nautical Science degree from South Shields, UK. He has been associated for over 27 years with the shipping industry including 6 years ashore supporting S&Q functions, audits, and on-board training with Campbell Shipping. He has pursued a sea-going career as a Master serving on a variety of vessels having started with tankers and later moving on to general cargo, Panama, and cape size bulkers and OBO’s, reefer containers, and finally Handysize bulkers. He is a certified ISM/ISPS Internal Auditor and a DNV-GL-certified Auditor for integrated management systems for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001, and for Accident Investigation on board ships.
Saurabh Pokharna is an Indian Chartered Accountant and holds a graduate (B com) degree from Mumbai University. He has been with Campbell for 4 years now and is looking after internal audits for the group.
He has over 10 years of work experience across various industries such as shipping, media, real estate, travel, etc. His extensive and broad experience includes internal controls review; corporate governance; risk remediation; investigations; and current state assessment, benchmarking, and preparation of development plans.
Sanjay joined the organization in December 2016 to oversee the IT and communication on board as well as ashore for the group of companies at Campbell. Having spent more than 16 years in the shipping industry, he has handled various applications and ERPs. Sanjay began his career at ARI (Applied Research International), working on data migration from AMOS to Ship Master (a DOS application to Windows application). He later worked with Pratibha Shipping as a programmer to head their IT in developing a shipping ERP, which was deployed on 13 tanker vessels, and then served at Loyalty Marine. Prior to joining Campbell, he worked for TAG Offshore as an IT Manager and implemented a self-developed ERP on their offshore fleets. His area of expertise lies in application development, database integration, managing IT infrastructure, and ERPs.
