INTERMANAGER LEADERSHIP AND SEAFARERS AWARD – 2019

The DPA at Campbell Shipping, Captain Venkat Kesav, received the Safety Leadership Award on behalf of the company, as well as 3 other awards on behalf of 3 individual seafarers of Campbell Shipping.

INTERNATIONAL MARITIME ORGANIZATION AWARD – 2017

The Hon. Frankie Campbell, Minister of Transport and Local Government, presented the International Maritime Organization (IMO) special recognition award to Campbell Shipping, which was received for the efforts of the crew of the CS Caprice who rescued over 510 migrants.

CONNECTICUT MARITIME ASSOCIATION (CMA) AWARD – 2015

The Connecticut Maritime Association acknowledged the laudatory actions of Captain Joshua Henry Peris Bhatt, as well as the entire crew of the CS Caprice and the management of Campbell Shipping, when, in October 2014, the vessel rescued 510 men, women, and children refugees in peril in the Mediterranean Sea.

ENVIRONMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT – 2015

The 2015 Green Flag Program certificate was awarded to Campbell Shipping at the Port of Long Beach for the company’s vessel speed reduction program.

AMVER AWARDS – 2014

On Wednesday, February 17, Lieutenant Commander Tom Gill, the U.S. Embassy’s Coast Guard Liaison Officer to The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands, officially recognized award-winning Bahamian flagged vessels under Campbell Shipping Company for their strong participation during 2014 in the United States Coast Guard’s (USCG) Automated Mutual-Assistance Vessel Rescue (AMVER) system. US COAST GUARD – QUALSHIP 21 – 2013 / 2017

The US Coast Guard recognized the Campbell Shipping fleet’s eligibility to meet the criteria of their QUALSHIP 21 program. As per the USCG, less than 10% of all [non-US flagged] ships that operate in the [US] meet the eligibility requirements of this program, putting Campbell Shipping Co. Ltd. qualified vessels in an elite class. The efforts of the organization, the master, and crew of the qualified vessels to adhere to such high standards of excellence was commended by the USCG. Campbell Shipping has been a part of the QUALSHIP 21 program since 2013 and was recognized once again in 2017.

SAFETY AT SEA AWARDS – 2012

This award was presented in recognition of the company’s innovating and original development to improve its safety and security on board and ashore. The company produced an in-house training video for developing and undertaking a practical risk management framework when their vessels transit through piracy high-risk areas in order to train their sea staff about the realities of piracy. This 29-minute video uses footage that was taken on one of its vessels as it prepared to enter the high-risk area and the security measures taken during transit that won the hearts of the panel. RESCUE OPERATIONS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA – 2015
